How to Install Peppermint on OpenBSD
Peppermint is a lightweight Linux distribution based on Ubuntu. If you want to install Peppermint on OpenBSD, follow these steps.
Step 1: Download Peppermint
Download the latest version of Peppermint from the official website, https://peppermint.sh/. You should download the ISO image file.
Step 2: Prepare Your OpenBSD System
- Create a new virtual machine or a new partition on your existing system.
- Make sure your system meets the minimum requirements of Peppermint.
- Download and install a bootloader, such as GRUB or LILO.
Step 3: Boot From the ISO Image
Boot your system from the Peppermint ISO image. You can either burn the image to a CD or use a USB drive.
Step 4: Start the Installation
Once you have booted your system from the Peppermint ISO image, you will see a desktop environment. Click on the Install Peppermint icon to start the installation process.
Step 5: Follow the Installation Wizard

Once the installation is complete, reboot your system. At this point, you should be able to boot into Peppermint.
