How to Install Leed on Windows 10
Leed is an open source RSS reader that allows you to read news and blog posts from a variety of different sources in one place. This tutorial will guide you through the installation process for Leed on Windows 10.
Prerequisites
Before you begin, make sure you have the following:
- A Windows 10 computer
- An internet connection
- XAMPP or a similar local server package installed on your computer. You can download XAMPP at https://www.apachefriends.org/index.html
Installation Steps
Download Leed from the GitHub repository at https://github.com/LeedRSS/Leed. You can do this by clicking the green "Code" button and selecting "Download ZIP".
Navigate to the folder where you downloaded Leed and extract the contents of the ZIP file.
Move the extracted Leed folder to the "htdocs" directory in your XAMPP installation. This directory is usually located in the "C:\xampp" folder.
Open XAMPP and start the Apache and MySQL services.
Open your web browser and navigate to "http://localhost/leed/".
Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation process for Leed.
Once the installation is complete, you can log in to Leed using the default username "admin" and password "admin". It is recommended that you change the password as soon as possible for security reasons.
