Tutorial: How to Install EteSync Web on Windows 11
EteSync Web is a web client for the EteSync encrypted note-taking and calendar service. In this tutorial, we will walk you through the steps on how to install EteSync Web on Windows 11.
Prerequisites
Before you begin, ensure that you have the following:
- A Windows 11 PC
- An internet connection
- A web browser
Step 1: Open your web browser
Launch your favorite web browser, such as Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox.
Step 2: Visit the EteSync website
Go to the EteSync website by entering https://www.etesync.com into the address bar and press Enter.
Step 3: Access the EteSync Web client
Click the "Login / Register" button located on the top right corner of the screen. This will lead you to the EteSync Web client login page.
Step 4: Login to your EteSync account
Enter your EteSync username and password in the login form and click the "Login" button. If you don't have an EteSync account yet, click the "Create account" button to create a new one.
Step 5: Install EteSync Web as a PWA
Once you have successfully logged in to your EteSync account, click the three-dot menu (also known as the hamburger icon) located on the top right corner of the screen, then select "Install EteSync" from the dropdown menu. A pop-up window will appear, asking if you want to install EteSync as a Progressive Web App (PWA). Click "Install" to proceed.
Step 6: Confirm the installation
A confirmation message will appear, stating that EteSync has been installed as a PWA. Click the "OK" button to close the message.
Step 7: Launch EteSync Web
Launch EteSync Web by clicking the new EteSync icon that appears on your Windows 11 taskbar or by using the new EteSync shortcut that has been added to your Windows 11 Start menu.
Congratulations! You have successfully installed EteSync Web on your Windows 11 PC. You can now access your encrypted note-taking and calendar service from your desktop.
