How to Install Yeti-Switch on Windows 11

Yeti-Switch is an open-source platform for voice communication services, ideal for internet telephony service providers (ITSPs). In this tutorial, we will guide you through the process to install Yeti-Switch on your Windows 11 computer.

Prerequisites

Before starting this installation, make sure you have the following prerequisites:

  • A Windows 11 computer with at least 4GB of RAM and 20GB of free space
  • Internet connectivity
  • Administrative access to your computer

Steps

Follow these steps to install Yeti-Switch on Windows 11:

  1. Download the Yeti-Switch binary package for Windows from the official website https://yeti-switch.org/download/. Choose the package that corresponds to your computer's architecture (32-bit or 64-bit).

  2. Extract the downloaded ZIP file to your preferred location on your computer.

  3. Open the extracted folder, and double-click the yeti-switch.exe file to run the installer.

  4. Follow the on-screen instructions to install Yeti-Switch.

  5. During the installation, you will be prompted to provide the following information:

    • Node Name: Enter a name for your Yeti-Switch node.
    • IP address: Enter the IP address of your computer.
    • Database: Choose the type of database you want to use for Yeti-Switch. You can choose between PostgreSQL and MySQL.
    • Database Name: Enter the name of the database you want to use.
    • Username: Enter the username for the database.
    • Password: Enter the password for the database.

  6. Click "Install" to begin the installation process.

  9. To log in to the web interface, use the default credentials:
