How to Install PassCheck on macOS

PassCheck is a password strength checker that can help you enhance the security of your online accounts. In this tutorial, we will guide you on how to install PassCheck on macOS.

Prerequisites

  1. A macOS operating system, version 10.11 or later
  2. A web browser (e.g. Safari, Chrome, Firefox)

Steps

  1. Open your preferred web browser and go to https://passcheck.anhur.xyz/.

  2. Click on the "Download" button on the PassCheck homepage.

  3. After clicking the "Download" button, a new page will appear where you can choose the file to download. In this case, click on the "passcheck-macos.zip" option.

  4. Once the download is complete, open the downloaded file (passcheck-macos.zip) from your "Downloads" folder or wherever you saved the file.

  5. Double-click on the extracted "PassCheck" application.

  6. If prompted with "PassCheck can't be opened because it is from an unidentified developer", control-click the PassCheck icon, then choose "Open" from the pop-up menu.
